Quote:

       Write it down exactly

       Put it in quotation marks

       Authorís last name & page # in parentheses after the quote

       Period goes at the very end

       No punctuation between author's last name and page #

       If authorís name is in your sentence, don't put it at end

       Do not start a sentence with quotation marks

       If quote starts at the beginning of someone's sentence, use a tag followed by a comma & capitalize beginning of quote

       If your leadĖin is a complete sentence, put a colon after it
